As shown frequently in the past, the “new” SSPX has adopted much conciliar terminology, e.g., “new evangelization”, “full communion”, “Catholic community” (to refer to a parish), heretics called “martyrs”, etc.
One of the most common ways the “new” SSPX has embraced false conciliar terminology, is to regularly refer to heretics as “Christian”. The term “Christian” means a follower of Christ. The Catholic Church teaches we should never call heretics by the name “Christian” because they are not truly followers of Christ.
in an article about the African country of Gambia, the “new” SSPX
identifies most of the nation as being Muslim and then says most
non-Muslims in Gambia
profess the Christian faith.
Issue #329, p.8 of 11. In this statement, the SSPX chooses its own
words and is not quoting anyone.
most non-Muslims in Gambia identify themselves as Roman Catholic,
there are many types of Protestants in that country, including
Anglicans, Methodists, Baptists, Seventh-day Adventists, Jehovah’s
Witnesses, and various small Protestant evangelical denominations.
Thus, the “new” SSPX not only continues its un-Catholic practice of including heretics among those persons it calls “Christian”, but the “new” SSPX also refers (as the conciliar church does) to a oneness of the faith of the true Catholic Church together with the various heretics.
As the “new” SSPX and the conciliar church know, they can change the judgment and principles of their followers by changing the terminology. For those who continue to be “plugged into” a regular stream of “new” SSPX sermons and printed materials, beware that you are subjected to a subtle brainwashing! Your Faith is under attack!
