The “new” SSPX now calls movies “good Catholic fun”.

Here is the longer quote:

In May of this year [2017], 16 young people from Our Lady of Sorrows gathered for a day of good Catholic fun: breakfast, a hike, a movie and pizza.

The soft N-SSPX has slid so far from its former, principled stand, that the N-SSPX now recommends to its followers the Lenten resolution of refraining from cell phone use while at the theater during Lent. (This was the N-SSPX’s only resolution about movies.) Here are the “new” SSPX’s own words, proposing this Lenten resolution (#6 on a list of ten):

The N-SSPX’s Lenten resolutions do not suggest that Catholics should abstain from movies during Lent or even that they should watch fewer movies during that penitential time. Id.

As Catholics become liberal, they become lax. We see this in the “new” SSPX. As it becomes more liberal, it becomes laxer.
