On May 8, 2015, the SSPX accurately noted that the Vatican’s newspaper, the L’Osservatore Romano, supports a French law promoting euthanasia.

Then the SSPX adds: we are really confused. How is it possible that the pope’s own newspaper,L’Osservatore Romano, supports it [viz., the pro-euthanasia law] …?

Assuming the SSPX is telling the truth when saying that it is really confused, what other conclusion can we reach but that the new SSPX is utterly naïve?

This naiveté stems from the SSPX leadership no longer making the distinction their founder made: viz., that there are two churches, the Catholic Church and the Conciliar Church.

As Archbishop Lefebvre declared: This conciliar church is a schismatic church because it breaks with the Catholic Church of all time. It has new dogmas. July 29, 1976 letter, quoted by the Dominicans of Avrille, in Sel de la Terre #36, p. 10.

Because the SSPX leaders have changed their position, we agree with them that they are really confused.
